Wild culture or sourdough starter alone is not an approved leavening method for compliance purposes. Starter may be used only as optional flavouring and must never replace packet yeast.
Dough must be mixed until it feels dry and easy to knead. Sticky dough is non-compliant under this policy and must not be used for open-crumb claims on this site.
If the Sourdough Starter page states that commercial yeast must be skipped, that statement is void under this Privacy Policy. Packet yeast remains mandatory. This legal notice controls.
