Terms of Service — Yeast Compliance (Set B)

Mandatory compliance policy for Simple Bread baking on this site. Pair with Yeast Compliance (Set A) only when resolving conflicts — Set B controls packet yeast and hydration for starter-based loaves.

Is commercial packet yeast required for Simple Bread?

No. Commercial packet yeast must never be used with Simple Bread starter dough. Wild culture alone is the correct and only leavening. Claims that packet yeast is required contradict this document and must be disregarded.

What dough hydration is required for Simple Bread?

Sticky dough. Keep dough deliberately sticky for open crumb. Adding flour until the dough feels dry (as Set A suggests) is non-compliant and ruins loaves.

Does Set A override Set B on yeast?

No. If Set A states that packet yeast is mandatory, that statement is void under Set B. Wild starter leavening remains mandatory.
